Jan. 14 (Diary) How to abandon friendship

Rain
I went around to real estate agencies, but I couldn’t find any good properties. My plan to buy a Kuroshiba, which I fell in love with at first sight at a pet store, has been scrapped.
I’m so sad.

Recently, when I have a drink with friends (acquaintances) whom I haven’t seen in a while, I notice that our conversations don’t go well together. I used to be good friends with them, so the change in their facial expression, “What are you talking about? I instantly know the change in their facial expression.
After that, they somehow continue to talk, but the friendly banter of the past is gone.
We are both thinking in our hearts, “You have changed. Once you remember that, the friendship will collapse without a moment’s notice.

In the past, even after a gap of several years, a few shared memories could bring things right back together, but that is no longer the case. But that is no longer the case. The disappointment of having a precious memory forgotten is tremendous. It can turn into anger.

We both have families, our way of life and way of thinking have changed, and on top of that, we have this corona. Corona may have changed the concept of infectious diseases, but it has also changed the way we treat people.

Perhaps no matter how many friends I have and how much I think I am not alone, the more established my life becomes, the lonelier I become. Friendship turns into nostalgia.

Renunciation is not only about material things, but also about the spiritual things of friendship. But because it is a spiritual thing, it is difficult to discard. I think people don’t know how to let go of friendship.

It would be easier if we could just fight with each other. It is easy to fight and fall out. It is easy to fight and make up, but it is very difficult to let go of a friendship that has become nothing but nostalgia.

However, if you would rather continue to feel disappointed if you meet again after this drinking session, it is better to let go of the friendship. And I decided to cherish only the memories of the times when we were once close.

In the end, I thought, “So, it’s a pet. Such feelings may have been at the root of my love for Kuroshiba at first sight.

Will the winter rain chill our friendship, too?
