December 10 (Diary) Two more books

Clear skies

In the morning, reading, writing, meditation, and Note.
In the afternoon, I lazily watch YouTube and Netflix.

I’m reading Akiko Ikeda’s already published works (about 30 books), and I finally have only two books left. After I finish reading all of them, I plan to read them in the order of publication, but I still wish someone would make a complete collection including the uncollected manuscripts…even if it’s a little expensive.

When I read Mr. Ikeda’s books, I think that I wish I had picked up a book on philosophy earlier. Mr. Ikeda often says, “Think for yourself. I have done that, well, as much as anyone else, but I did not understand the logical correctness of “knowing. I regret that I did not understand the value and meaning of “knowing” earlier.

Perhaps I was thinking of the words of Takaaki Yoshimoto to his daughter, Banana Yoshimoto: “If you study too much, you will never be able to write a novel. But that was a misunderstanding. It was a remark to someone who had acquired a natural talent.

Those without talent like me have to study. That is not the same as the word “effort. Regardless of whether one has talent or not, from the moment one realizes one’s purpose in life, one must live accordingly. With all one’s might. It is just a matter of readiness to live.

And two more books. I would like to read Mr. Ikeda’s writings as if I were worshipping him. And I hope I can be a creative person to make readers feel that way.

Winter grass bathed in the weak sun, blotting my eyes.

I write poetry and novels that can be read by young children. Literature is the strongest.
