November 4 (Diary) Creativity and Business Sense

Clear sky
Gusty wind sometimes

I thought I hadn’t watched YouTube recently, so I casually turned it on.
I found a video of Orihara Radio.
I’ve always liked the duo Oriental Radio, and I thought their dialogue was kind of genius.
I was attracted by the title of the video, “Let’s talk about ORIENTAL RADIO’s new strategy.

By the way, as you can see from the recent news related to Johnny’s, strategy is important when it comes to marketing a certain type of artistic expression as a form of entertainment that can be paid for.

Some time ago, I read a book (the title is dim) about the difference between Picasso and Van Gogh, and it said that Picasso was a genius not only in his painting talent but also in marketing his own works. This seems to be the decisive difference between Picasso and Van Gogh, who was moaning in poverty, saying that his paintings were not selling well.

In the world of contemporary painting, Mr. Takashi Murakami also said that without business sense and management sense, it is impossible to continue creating art. He said, “I am not a businessman.

This business sense, however, is a tricky thing, and it seems to clash somewhat with the innocent desire to create, making me want to exclaim, “I don’t have any business sense to begin with, that’s why I’m creating.

However, when you have confidence in your work and want to sell it to the world, you need a calm strategy, and to do that, it is important to start by looking back at yourself, I thought as I listened to Orihara’s next strategy.

I wondered if there was any business sense left somewhere.

Watching tomorrow, the sky is higher than it was yesterday
