July 17 (Diary) Akiko Ikeda was on “Live TV till Morning.

Cloudy and sometimes sunny
Blurred weather overall.

I happened to watch a live TV program on youtube (a very old one) featuring Akiko Ikeda, a philosopher who can be called my mentor in my contemplation.

The theme of the day seemed to be “religion,” and with overwhelming logic, Ikeda kicked out the usual panelists (there were some surprising people on that show).

In the program, Mr. Ikeda asked questions such as “What is conscience? What is God? What is belief? He was just like Socrates, or rather, Socrates himself, who once defeated a number of sophists in the square in Athens.

After all, even though Mr. Ikeda was only insisting, “First understand what you don’t understand,” the former critics had completely crushed him in their attempts to debunk him by saying plausible things.
Yes, no one can beat Socrates.

I was surprised that Ms. Ikeda was on “Live TV till Morning” in the first place, but I was also surprised that she was also on the News Station (that seems to be the only video left).

Akiko Ikeda’s writings have recently been re-evaluated, and I wanted to see her live longer and see her on TV, with the look of how tedious she can be.

Then, as I was watching the program, I suddenly thought.
I thought that the concept of God created by mankind, as elaborate, sublime, and noble as it is, may prove again the possibility of man.
