A lonely person (poet)

Take me.
“like a sparsely populated
like an amusement park
I was like a sparsely populated amusement park

I am…
like a scramble intersection
like a scramble intersection
like a scramble crossing in the dusk.

I was…
A student had gone home
like a school corridor
I was once likened

I am…
I am like a field of rice
like a field of rice paddies
like a field of rice that has just been harvested

Maybe that’s why I’m
I may be a lonely person
But it can’t be helped
The world is a lonely place
Is a lonely place

Still, I’ll ride the Ferris wheel
Riding a Ferris wheel
Crossing an intersection
Turn on the hallway light
I keep planting new seedlings

Even if the world is renewed
And the loneliness of the past is gone
I can surely liken it to new loneliness
I can surely be likened
