April 25 (Diary) Haiku with a twist

Cloudy
While I was feeling down and my thoughts were not working well, I managed to restart NOTE and found many good things.

One of them,
I was invited by a haiku-loving follower to a haiku competition on note called the Lilac Cup.

I thought I would never be able to participate in a haiku contest because my haiku is at the level of a mediocre haiku (mediocre free verse haiku), but when I participated in the contest, I received many comments on my haiku and words of encouragement for my negative article.

That made me very happy.

I had been under the impression that literature, including haiku, poetry, and novels, was a solitary, solitary process, so this series of exchanges was both refreshing and enjoyable.

Yes, Matsuo Basho was not alone as he traveled with Kawai Sora and held haiku contests and banquets with his haikai disciples in various places. I remember that aristocrats of the past also held many poetry gatherings.

This is a form of literature that is solitary but not solitary. Perhaps the current literary flea market is one such form.

When I get back on my feet a little more, I might try participating in a variety of events.
That’s what I got out of this flop.

Compose something even if you are not good at it. Keep on composing. That will surely lead to something. That is one of the hopes that literature can hold.

Feeling recovery with rape blossoms after an illness.

I write poetry and novels that can be read by young children. Literature is the strongest.
