January 28 (Diary) I want a study

Sunny
A walk around the neighborhood of a potential new place to move.

I’ve moved several times in the past, but it’s not just the property itself that’s good or bad.
I have moved several times in the past, but if you don’t look at the surrounding area, you will definitely make a mistake.

Not only the distance from the station, but also whether there is a supermarket or convenience store in the neighborhood, whether there are good restaurants, and what the residents are like to begin with.

When I started living alone in college, the real estate agent told me, “This apartment is right behind the supermarket and is very convenient. It’s perfect for students.” I took their word for it and rented the apartment, but was surprised when I actually started living there.

The next morning, from around 4:00 a.m., large trucks began arriving one after another to bring in merchandise. The noise was so loud that I couldn’t fall asleep (it continued until about 10:00).
This was something I would never have known if I had come to inspect the place in the daytime.

By the time I felt cheated, it was already too late, and I started sleeping with earplugs at night for about a year.

As I have said before, there is no such thing as a perfect property. However, if there is one thing that is unforgivable, it will ruin everything, even if other conditions are good. This mistake taught me a lesson for the rest of my move. First, look around the neighborhood. Day and night if possible. When it’s sunny and when it’s raining.

Anyway, I want a dog. I want a study. So I went to a bookstore in the neighborhood and bought a magazine.
It was called “Man’s Hideout: How to Create a Small Study.

The “study” by the writer Keiko Kadoi that appeared in the magazine was just wonderful. A tranquil space surrounded by books. It exceeds the best study I have ever seen, even that of Mr. Jiro Daibutsu. The perfect.

But I wonder how much it would cost…absolutely impossible.
