People who can say, “My hobby is my job.”

In the past, there were many seniors in my company who would loudly say “work is our hobby” or “we are professionals” about their work ethic. When I complained about my job, I was lectured, “You’re paid to do it, aren’t you?

He had a valid point. I had nothing to say back to them. He was absolutely right.
However, his face was reddening as he was making his point, and it looked as if he was forcing himself to say what he was saying. From the look on his face, work did not seem like a “hobby” to me.

Everyone has a different view of work. Some people think their work is “boring as shit,” while others think it is “easy because I get to go home on time. And of course, there are those who find it “fun.

From the perspective of the organization, it does not matter what each individual thinks, but those who produce results are evaluated. It is also understandable that the attitude toward work is a measure that can be taken only when the results are exactly the same as someone else’s.

However, those who are dissatisfied with their work, but who have achieved results by daily self-discipline and encouragement, tend to be power-harassers. This is because they are overworking themselves, so they tend to demand more from others.

Workers are nothing more than those who earn wages by providing their own labor. It is strange because they bring up a “mind-set” that no one can argue with.
They say, “Love your job like a lover,” “Because it’s your job,” “Show me your motivation,” and so on.
I am sick and tired of it. I’m fed up.
And as for me, I’m not listening at all.
I was shouting in my mind, “Just keep saying that until you die of exhaustion.
From a certain point on, I began to have a hard time forgiving people who could say such things so nonchalantly.

Gut feelings about work are nothing but the germ of power harassment. It is best to quickly nip any bad buds in the bud.
As for me, I am happy as long as I get paid for my work.

From my past painful experience….

See you later.
