November 30 (Diary) The only book I would take to a deserted island is

cloudy
I feel winter in the wind.

If you could take one book with you to a deserted island, what would it be? I think it would be a “Haiku Chronicle (a dictionary of seasonal words).

A favorite novel or a dictionary such as Kojien would be nice, but I am sure I would get tired of reading them.
On the other hand, a Saijiki is both interesting to read and useful as a source of topics. It is hard to find a book that is twice as tasty in one book.

The mention of a deserted island reminds me of the movie “Cast Away,” starring Tom Hanks.
In the movie, there is a scene in which the main character, who is left alone on a deserted island in the state of Robinson Crusoe, draws a face on a floating ball and makes it into an imaginary friend to distract himself from his loneliness.

If it were me, I would not make the ball my friend (Captain Tsubasa is my friend in another sense). I feel sure I would be even lonelier.

The main character is adrift on a deserted island.
He spends his days writing haiku he comes up with on the beach. However, in the end, he dies without being found by anyone.
Soon after, his lover, who has been looking for him, happens to find one of his remaining haiku. It was the most wonderful haiku ever written. However, the haiku is soon washed away by the waves. I think I will make such a movie.
It probably won’t be a hit.

Waiting for others, their eyes are hot.

I write poetry and novels that can be read by young children. Literature is the strongest.
