September 24 (Diary) The Complete Works of Takaaki Yoshimoto

fine weather
A typhoon has passed. It is a fine weather that does not occur so many times in a year.
It feels like autumn.

I have nothing special to do, so I read the fifth volume of the complete works of Takaaki Yoshimoto.
Suddenly, I looked at the belt and saw that there are 38 volumes in total, including one separate volume.
Since I read each volume carefully, the pace is one volume every three months.

At this rate, it would take me almost 10 years to read through the entire collection.
He decided to speed up the pace of reading.

However, the contents were so deep that I felt as if I were being told by Mr. Takaaki Yoshimoto, “You should read this book more carefully because we have devoted our lives to writing it,” and I soon gave up.

I decided to spend 10 years reading it, drawing lines, taking notes, and contemplating it each time.
Still, a complete collection of someone’s work is wonderful. I feel as if I am living with that person. Especially when it is someone I respect and admire.

I have only 35 volumes to go, but I already feel sad when I think there are only 35 more volumes to go.
I wish there were about 100 more volumes left.

Autumn skies people I admire reminders.
